Product Review: Zone Perfect Bars
I am one of those people who sleeps until the very last second in the morning and then rushes around like a crazed person trying to get out the door in time. I even got a speeding ticket this week on the way to work. Really, that should teach me, but it won’t. Yet, I digress, this causes me to miss breakfast on a near daily basis.
My solution to this problem, for several years now, is not to wake up earlier. Instead, I keep Zone Perfect nutrition bars in my desk drawer and have them for breakfast. Since at least 2004, I’ve been eating the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor. It’s a little like a crispy Reese’s candy bar, with some added protein. Then just last week I discovered the new Dark Chocolate line of Zone bars. Oh my God! They’re fantastic!
I’m getting 12 grams of protein in what really tastes like a candy bar, but better because its not overly sweet. Absolutely perfect for breakfast. That and a cup of coffee, what better way to start the day! I even buy them by the box from Target and save! My breakfast winds up costing my about $1.50 a day. Not bad at all in this economy.
