Product Review: Laura Mercier Cosmetics
Earlier this week, a parent of a student that I work with came into my office. It was late in the day, and would you even believe, she looked like she had just left the house, as if it were early in the morning, make up still perfectly intact. Well, I’m one of those girls whose make up is history by noon, if I’m lucky to make it that long. So, I asked her what kind of make up she was wearing, and she replied, “Laura Mercier”.
That very night, I set out for the mall on a mission. One hour and $356 dollars later, I am now fully equipped with much of the Laura Mercier line. And I really like it! (I had better for $356 dollars, hadn’t I?)
This is what I got: Foundation: Foundation Primer Oil Free, Oil Free Foundation and set it with Mineral Finishing Powder. Eyes: Eye Basics - Eye Bright (a primer for eye shadow), Eye Colour Trio, and two eye liners: one pencil and one that you wet and apply with a brush. Cheeks: Cheek Colour and Shimmer Bloc. Lips: Lip Pencil and a Lip Gloss called Lip Glac.Of all those products, my favorites so far are the Eye Bright primer and Eye Colour Trio. My eye shadow is completely intact, and I don’t have any creases in the shadow. And here it is, almost 2pm at this writing, and my foundation and blush are still looking pretty darn good. Bye-bye Smashbox and Bare Essentials, I’m a new Laura Mercier fan! You can find her products at her website: LauraMercier.com

I love her products. I tried her mineral foundation and have been an addict ever since. Women don’t realize that it’s worth it to spend the extra money because you aren’t re-applying ever 3 hours.

I love Laura Mercier foundation. Have been using it for a few years and swear by it. Not cakey feeling, lasts all day and the colors match perfectly with my skin.
