The illustrious author of Miss Spitfire: Reaching Helen Keller, Sarah Miller, has created a new and exciting reading challenge called The Disney Literature Challenge . The basic idea is to take the Disney movies, such as Mary Poppins or The Little Mermaid, and read the original stories they were based on to see how the story changed or remained the same in the movie versions. I am really excited about this challenge and have added a couple more Disney movies/books to my own blog (not to mention the pile of books I added to my wishlist!), if you want to check it out there. Feel free to join in on the challenge and post a link to your blog where we can keep up with how you’re doing on the reading!
