At the moment I am trying to design a new website as my old one is basically staid and boring. I thought I’d do a bit of research by visiting the websites of our contributors. Obviously I’d never take anyone else’s ideas but I thought it would be good to see how many pages other people have and what types of illustrations they use; what colours look good together and how much of their own work they show. I have flitted to most of the writing sites quickly as part of checking that the links work before adding them to the bio’s in the writings section of ATG.
I am absolutely no further on with my web design because I was completely sidetracked by the wonderful stories and poetry “out there”.
The arts section didn’t help either. There are some very creative photographers that really see the world differently. It was lovely to take some time out and just indulge my creative side.
What a wealth of talent! It’s really worth taking a stroll through these sites - obviously after you’ve read All Things Girl.
