From the Editor: Love & Lust (our mid-issue update)
It’s hard to believe that the frosty days of January has already melted into February…..It isn’t that February is warmer…in fact, the cold is colder, the days drearier, and the weather is typically yuckier. But I always feel the breath of Spring once the calendar page turns from January to February. Maybe it’s because of Valentine’s Day, a somewhat Hallmark Holiday filling the stores with lots of red hearts and chocolate candies. It’s the time to remind us that love is in the air, even if it’s only found in a beautiful gold box of chocolates
Love & Lust is continuing here at ATG….we are fortunate to have three new pieces in Arts as well as five new pieces in Writings that reflect our hopes for love….and our yearnings for lust. A quick look at reviews will find a couple of new book reviews. And Everything Girl is continuing to grow…with words of wisdom, interviews, and an incredible book excerpt.
This is a longer February than most, since 2008 is a Leap Year. But it won’t be long until my imagined warmths of February will bleed into March, which will bring us Spring. The theme for our next issue (March/April) is “Earth & Sky”, so we look forward to seeing what you have in mind.
Keep in touch - we always love to hear from you!
