From the Editor: Mid-Issue Update: Harvest

We are officially in the season of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere.  I’ve been on the East Coast most of past few weeks, and though the temperature doesn’t show it daily, there is a definite change in the air that you can just feel.  Autumn is a time when the earth begins its journey of renewal:  hearty food crops are harvested, the weather is perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, and those with a creative mind can have the wonderful inspiration of crisp air, fresh apples, and turning leaves to inspire them.  It’s now October, and here at All Things Girl, we are celebrating the second half of our 5th 2008 issue:  Harvest.

In Writings…. you will find a smattering of new pieces this month as writers share their words on fruitful beginnings, thoughtful questions, and changes.  hat refreshing verve as the writers give you their view of the Spice of Life.  As I always brag,  Everything Girl is just fabulous.  We have part two of our interview with Cover Girl Shelia Weller as well as an in depth interview with writer Tanita Davis.  You will also find the inspirational (and yummy) Man of the Month, Carmi Levy…..  Oh, and don’t forget about our Reviews!  Great thoughts on books.  Please take some time to explore the new additions to this issue…and curl up with a hot cup of apple cider and your laptop.

Be sure and keep an eye here on The Blog. You never know what you might find as the editors and columnists share what’s on their minds….. As always, we look forward to your submissions as well as your comments.

For those of you, like me, in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope that you will find Autumn an inspiriting season as the earth begins it’s renewal…an for our friends in the Southern Hemisphere, I hope the re-birth of Spring brings you a fruitfulness in your endeavors as well…
