BOOK TALK: As Shadows Fade Giveaway
The fifth book in Colleen Gleason’s Gardella Vampire Chronicles comes out just after the first of the year, and she’s offered one lucky reader an ARC (that’s “advanced review copy”), a couple months before the publication date.
BUT, there’s a catch.
Colleen will be reading responses to this post, and she’ll be selecting the winner, so if you want a copy of As Shadows Fade, you have to leave a comment telling us why you think vampires are popular/sexy/cool, etc.

Why do i think vampires are popular/sexy/cool? Because I’m intrigued by immortality and by beauty, by amazing strength and speed, by being attracted to a predator in spite of the dangers (kind of like thinking a tiger is beautiful and wanting to cuddle with it LOL).

Interesting question… Vampires are cool/sexy/hip because in some ways we all want to be one. They live forever, never changing… They take what they want, never getting caught… They have awesome fingernails… Now I’m being facetious, but you get my point. They get what they want without thought of anyone else, or worry.
Basically, people want to be what they aren’t and are in love with what they can’t have.
I sound kind of jaded… It wasn’t meant to be that way….
It’s just true- I’d love to have great nails.
