Call for Submissions:Women’s Stories Needed for Book Compilation
Do you have a terrific story to share about a “first” experience that happened to you during puberty? Perhaps you have an embarrassing memory about your first period, or a wonderful story about your first kiss. I’m collecting stories of first periods, kisses, school dances, buying bras, and any other firsts that occur between the ages of 11-15. What I want is the good, the bad and the truly ugly. I am also looking for examples of family traditions, symbols of honor, and rites of passage stuff.

Hi this sounds good and I’d like to recommend to my members - is there any pay for it? has it already been sold to a publisher?

Thanks for your interest! I’m very excited about this project. I hope to be able to find a way to compensate contributors either through payment of money or books, but at this stage I’m still unsure. I am preparing the book proposal and need to get started with a few stories in order to finish. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions!
